Commissions

In addition to creating paintings of scenes of my own choosing to make available for sale at my shows throughout the year, I also produce several commission pieces. Whatever is of interest of the client, the scenes vary from a home's entrance to a street scene.

The Process

A pencil sketch starts the process. Once an image is approved, sizes and prices are finalized. In general, commission pieces cost along the lines of my other work, which takes into size and complexity. All the work is completed on location and the paintings require between 5 to 20 visits.

I start with a pencil sketch.	I then prepare the underpainting on canvas.
