| Crystal Moll has attained a style all her own. | ||||||||||||
|
A blend of impressionism and realism, her paintings have a pleasing painterly quality of traditional oils, with an intriguing color sense that is Crystal's own. Her work has been compared with that of Edward Hopper, but with a happier, brighter tone. Baltimore has been her primary subject in recent years, and the eastern shore of Maryland is another favorite. Commissions include, the Albert V. Bryan United States Courthouse, Alexandria, The Marsh McLennan Building, Stone & Associates, Baltimore and Rohm & Hass Co., Philadelphia. Her paintings have been widely exhibited throughout the mid-atlantic region including shows at the Academy of Art, Easton; Marin-Price Galleries, Chevy Chase; Medici Gallery, Philadelphia and the Bennett Street Gallery in Atlanta. Her work has been published in the Encyclopedia of Living Artists. |
